A project is a temporary undertaking with a defined beginning and end, with a scope of work, a schedule of time and deliverables, and a means to measure success. Projects are constrained by resources of time , investment and personnel. The goal of the project manager is to optimize the resources, to deliver the product of the project to the stakeholders within the constraints.
